My Approach to Healing & Growth
My core belief is simple: you are the expert in your own life. My role is to be your guide. We'll work together, focusing on your strengths and what's already working, to build the life you truly want.
How We'll Work Together
My primary method is Solution-Focused Narrative Therapy (SFNT). We won't dwell on the past; instead, we'll re-author your story. We'll explore the resources and capabilities you already have to build a new narrative filled with resilience and hope. We'll identify your desired future and map out the practical steps to get there.
A Toolkit for Your Unique Journey
I believe no single approach works for everyone. My practice is eclectic, meaning I pull from a variety of proven therapeutic models to create a plan that fits you perfectly.
Emotion-Focused Therapy (EFT): This helps us explore and reshape core emotions to foster deeper connection and repair, especially with relational and spiritual pain.
The Gottman Method: For couples, I use practical tools from this method to improve communication, manage conflict, and build stronger friendship and intimacy.
Beyond these tools, my approach is deeply trauma-informed and addiction-informed. I understand how past experiences and specific struggles can impact your life, and I'm committed to creating a safe space for authentic healing, without judgment. Given my spiritual background, I can also thoughtfully integrate principles of depth psychology to explore the deeper, unconscious aspects of your experience, should you find that helpful.
My Goal for You
I want to empower you to discover your inherent capacity for change. Together, we will develop clear steps forward and create a hopeful narrative for your life. Whether you're working through relational challenges, seeking to overcome addiction, or building a more meaningful future, my goal is to guide you toward lasting growth.
